Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care. Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, dental charts, and radiographs to develop effective treatment plans. Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients. Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations. Document all medical and dental records meticulously using electronic health record systems such as OpenDental software. Collaborate with the dental team to provide four-handed dentistry for efficient patient care delivery. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry practices, including endodontics, implantology, and dental fabrication techniques to enhance patient outcomes. Qualifications Valid state license to practice dentistry as a General Dentist. Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment with familiarity in dental office procedures and protocols. Proficiency in using dental software platforms such as OpenDental for documentation, and medical records management. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, infection control standards, and medical imaging techniques. Skills in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures, and oral surgery with confidence. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment plans clearly.
