Dental Assistant - Amesbury Dental Associates - Amesbury, MA

Amesbury Dental Associates is a busy, patient-centered dental practice looking for a motivated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our growing team. We’re seeking someone with prior dental assisting experience, but we’re also excited to train the right candidate who brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for patient care. What You’ll Do: Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures (restorative, extractions, implants, and general dentistry) Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Take and process dental X-rays (if certified) Seat patients and help them feel comfortable and informed Set up trays and materials for procedures Maintain infection control and OSHA compliance Chart clinical notes and assist with treatment documentation Support front desk and hygiene team as needed to keep the schedule flowing smoothly Educate patients on post-op care and oral hygiene basics What We’re Looking For: Prior dental assisting experience preferred (but not required for the right candidate) Radiology certification a plus (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Professional, friendly bedside manner Willingness to learn and grow within the practice Why Join Amesbury Dental Associates?
