Dentrix software (not required for experience ) Hours are 730-530 Mondays and Tuesdays $48- $52 Pay is based off of experience Responsibilities Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination Sterilize dental instruments properly Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history Identify conditions like gingivitis, periodontitis need for orthodontics Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques) Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures Take X-rays or Itero scan Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Skills Proven experience as Dental Hygienist Proven experience in treatment planning In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA) Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment Outstanding communication skills A patient and friendly personality Attention to detail Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job Valid license to practice license to administer local anesthesia required Job Type: Part-time Work Location: One location Work Remotely No Job Type: Part-time Pay: $48.00 - $52.00 per hour Expected hours: 8 – 18 per week Benefits: Employee discount Work Location: In person
