Summary We’re seeking a skilled and reliable Orthodontic Dental Assistant to support our growing orthodontic team across our two vibrant locations. Responsibilities Assist orthodontists during procedures and ensure a smooth workflow. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to safety protocols. Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene and orthodontic care. Take and develop dental radiographs as needed. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems. Monitor patient vital signs during procedures when necessary. Support the front office with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Requirements New York State Licensed Dental Assistant (Required) Previous experience as an orthodontic assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is essential. Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend software is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
