**Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care. **Duties:** - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Assist the dentist during procedures as needed - Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) - Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care - Maintain accurate patient records **Qualifications:** - Certification or Associate Degree in Dental Assisting - X-ray certification preferred - Knowledge of Dentrix or similar dental practice management software - Familiarity with medical imaging, vital signs, and anatomy - Experience with dental receptionist duties is a plus - Understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation - Ability to work with patients of all ages, including pediatrics - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic dental practice, utilizing your skills in patient care and dental procedures.
