Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our family focused dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional chairside assistance, ensuring infection control, and maintaining accurate medical documentation. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive dental services across general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Duties Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures including restorations, extractions, implants and endodontic treatments using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control standards are maintained. Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans when applicable, while adhering to radiation safety protocols. Record vital signs and medical history information accurately in electronic health records using Eaglesoft EMR system. Educate patients on oral health care instructions post-treatment and assist with patient education using medical imaging tools. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and sterilize instruments according to infection control guidelines. Support the dental team with relevant administrative tasks. Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not required Proficiency with dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is advantageous Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control procedures Familiarity with X-ray techniques, 3D scanning technology, and intraoral scanning Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 per week Benefits: Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Work Location: In person
