Description: StraightTeeth4Less is a new, specialized orthodontic practice focused exclusively on braces, clear aligners, and achieving beautiful, straight smiles at affordable prices. Led by an experienced general dentist, we're building a focused, high quality team dedicated to orthodontics. We are seeking a highly experienced Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join us as we launch. This is a three day position at this time. We are committed to paying above-market rates for the right candidate- someone truly exceptional who can independently manage the day-to-day operations of a busy orthodontic practice. Competitive Pay: $28-$38+ per hour Based on skills, experience, and proven expertise in orthodontics. Top performers with extensive experience will be compensated at the higher end or beyond. Responsibilities: Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures (bonding, adjustments, wire changes, debonding, etc.) Take digitial impressions, X-rays, intraoral scans, and photographs Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas Fabricate retainers and appliances as needed Educate patients on oral hygiene, braces care, aligner protocols and post-treatment instructions Manage patient flow, charting and records in an effecient, orthdontic-focused environment Handle lab tasks, inventory, and general practice operations with minimal supervision Requirements: Significant experience as an orthodontic assistant (multiple years in a dedicated ortho practice preferred) Spanish and English speaking plus Strong knowledge of orthodontic procedures, tools, and terminology Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail Ability to work independently and handle a full orthdontic schedule Current X-ray certifications (required) DAII or equivalent certification stringly preferred Positive attitude, reliable, and passionate about creating great patient experiences If you're a top-tier orthodontic assistant tired of general dentistry and ready to focus soley on orthodontics in a modern, specialized setting, we'd love to hear from you!
