About Us: We are looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to cover specific vacation days in our fee for service cosmetic/general dental practice in Kentfield, California. We are looking for someone who loves what they do and enjoys building relationships with the patients. This practice has been in this location for more than 30 years and has wonderful patients. We pride ourselves on excellence and strive to provide the very best dentistry to our patients. The hygiene department is so important to this practice. We use the best equipment and supplies to help you provide the very best to our patients. We have a great team that supports each other and makes the patient experience excellent. Compensation is competitve depending on experience. Each hygiene operatory is state of the art. New instruments, New Cavitron 300 series ultrasonic scaling system, TV screens on ceiling, new ADEC chairs. Beautiful garden view out of the window in operatory. There is also a hygiene assistant who helps to breakown and set up room for you. This hygiene assistant is also available to do periodontal charting. I value hygiene so much, I want the best for my hygienists and patients! What We’re Looking For We’re seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) who is passionate about oral health and building strong relationships with patients. We strive to give every patient the very best experience. Must be gentle and caring! Responsibilities Provide preventative dental care, including cleanings, scaling and root planning, chartings and exams Educate patients on oral hygiene and home care techniques Take and review digital X-rays (Dexis) Assist with periodontal therapy as needed Maintain accurate patient records and charts (Dentrix) Follow all sterilization and infection control protocols Work closely with dentists and the rest of the team to ensure optimal patient care Qualifications Current California RDH license (Required) CPR/BLS Certification (Required) Loupes Strong interpersonal and communication skills Detail-oriented and organized Experience with Dentrix and Dexis a plus Benefits Competitive hourly pay, depending on experience may lead to part time or full time permanent position.
