Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Old Tappan, NJ

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant for a solo dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and be proficient in various dental procedures, including prosthodontics and implant surgery, nitrous and sedation. This role will be responsible for assisting the dentist, ensuring the highest level of patient care and maintaining a clean and organized dental office. We need a People's person with very neat and professional presentation. Very organized and Detail Oriented Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist and patient to create a great experience. - Provide a high-quality dental care to patients, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for procedures. - Participate in four-handed dentistry, working closely with the dentist to ensure seamless and efficient patient care. - Utilize 3D scanner technology, CBCT, facial scanner, milling machines to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. - Implement and maintain proper infection control procedures, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines. - Operate Denticon software, ensuring accurate and efficient patient records and billing. - Collaborate with the dental receptionist to coordinate patient appointments and maintain a smooth flow of patients. - Possess a thorough understanding of dental anatomy and be able to communicate effectively with patients and the dental team. - Maintain a clean and organized dental office at all times. this includes operatories, hallways lab, front desk, waiting room areas and bathrooms. - Inventory and orders Experience: - A minimum of 7 years of experience as a dental assistant in a dental environment. - Proven experience in general dentistry and familiarity with all dental procedures. - Temporary crowns fabrication and occlusal adjustments. - Ability to manage patient records accurately. - A high level of proficiency in dental procedures and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and the dental team. - Whitening trays fabrication - Impression taking and pouring. - Prepare to handle emergencies Hours. Full time with two Saturdays per month( 32 to 40 hours alternating weeks). Mondays 8:30 am to 8 pm Tuesday and Thursdays 8:30 am to 7 pm Two Saturdays per month from 7:30 am to 5 pm All daily hours end after last patient leaves and the office is clean and closed.
