Job Description: This position is primarily a back office clinical role with occasional front desk support as needed. You will be responsible for chairside assisting, patient preparation, sterilization, and maintaining smooth clinical flow throughout the day. When needed, you may assist with patient check-in, scheduling, or insurance coordination to support the team. Responsibilities: Clinical Duties Assist chairside during dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and patients Sterilize instruments and maintain clean, organized operatories Take and process dental X-rays Assist with impressions, temporary crowns, and other clinical procedures Maintain inventory and restock supplies Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Patient Care Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures Educate patients on post-op and home care instructions Create a calm, welcoming clinical experience Occasional Front Office Support Assist with patient check-in and check-out as needed Help with scheduling and phone coverage when the front desk is busy Support insurance verification or billing when needed Explain coverage and financial responsibility to patients Collect co-pays and assist with treatment planning and financial arrangements Qualifications: * Current Texas RDA license (required) * Back office dental assisting experience * Experience with dental software (OpenDental) is a plus * Friendly, professional, and dependable * Able to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment * Strong clinical skills and attention to detail * Team-oriented with a strong work ethic * Bilingual (fluent in Spanish & English, required ) Standard office hours are: Monday: 10:00 AM â 7:00 PM Tuesday: 8:30 AM â 4:00 PM Wednesday: 8:00 AM â 1:00 PM Thursday & Friday: 8:00 AM â 3:00 PM One Saturday a month: 9:00 AM â 3:00 PM (usually the first Saturday of the month) Note: When a Saturday shift is scheduled, there will be no office hours that Wednesday .
