Lead Dental Assistant Needed – Multi-Specialty Solo Dental Practice

We’re looking for an experienced Lead Dental Assistant to join our high-energy, multi-specialty dental practice specializing in Prosthodontics, Implants, Oral Surgery, Periodontics, and Cosmetics. If you’re a skilled, detail-oriented professional with a passion for patient care and a drive to excel, we want you on our team!

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the dentist during advanced procedures, including surgical implant placements, full-mouth restorations, crown/bridge work, and oral surgery.
• Provide expert chairside support with precision, ensuring a sterile, efficient, and patient-focused environment.
• Perform digital X-rays (Arizona-certified), Itero digital scans, and intraoral photography (a plus).
• Fabricate and adjust temporary crowns, bleaching trays, mouth guards, dentures, and partials—cord packing experience required.
• Manage patient records using Dentrix paperless charting while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance.
• Uphold OSHA standards for infection control, equipment sterilization, and office safety.
• Deliver exceptional customer service—educating patients, addressing concerns, and ensuring a comfortable experience.
• Collaborate with our team to maintain an organized, high-tech, and efficient practice.
• Train and mentor junior staff as needed in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 4 years of dental assisting experience—multi-specialty or surgical experience preferred.
• Arizona X-ray certification (required).
• Proficiency in Dentrix, digital scanners (Itero), and paperless charting—tech-savvy is a must.
• Hands-on skills: cord packing, temp crown fabrication, adjustments (crowns/dentures/partials), and bleaching trays.
• Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and surgical protocols (implants, extractions, periodontics).
• OSHA and HIPAA compliance expertise—maintaining a sterile, safe workspace.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills—friendly, professional, and able to put patients at ease.
• A go-getter attitude—eager to learn, adapt, and contribute to a high-performing team.
• Dental assisting certification/license (if applicable).
