Graham Park Dental seeking Dental Assistant . Location: Falls Church, VA Job Type: Full-Time Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday Graham Park Dental is seeking an experienced and professional Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. We are a patient-focused practice dedicated to providing high-quality oral care in a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English , have prior dental assistant experience, and preferably speak Spanish to better serve our diverse community. Responsibilities: Assist during dental procedures: Pass instruments to the dentist, suction fluids, hold retraction devices, and provide support during treatments like fillings, extractions, crowns, or root canals. Take and develop X-rays: Perform dental radiographs. Prepare patients for treatment: Seat patients, review medical histories, take vital signs, and explain procedures to alleviate concerns. Sterilize instruments and equipment: Clean, disinfect, and prepare tools to maintain hygiene and prevent infections, following OSHA guidelines. Provide post-treatment care: Instruct patients on oral hygiene, aftercare, and follow-up instructions. Use Dentrix Software. Qualifications: Fluency in English required; Spanish proficiency preferred. Proven experience as a Dental Assistant. Proficiency with dental practice management software ( Dentrix required). Knowledge of dental terminology. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Willingness to work some weekends Eagerness to learn new techniques. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 35 â 48 per week Application Question(s): Our dental office is located in Falls Church, VA.
