Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated, EXPERIENCED and energetic Dental Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will assist with various dental procedures, be organized and provide support to both the dentist and patients. The ideal candidate will be positive, flexible and friendly with the team and the patients. Office hours are M-Th, 8:30 am - 5 pm. Duties - Assist the dentist during various dental procedures including surgeries - Setup/breakdown treatment rooms before and after various procedures - Adhere to strict infection control guidelines - Take diagnostic digital radiographs and PVS impressions - Maintain accurate patient records including procedure notes and treatment plans - Fabricate temporary restorations with minimal supervision - Take intra-oral scans using an itero scanner - Place Invisalign attachments - Communicate effectively with the rest of the team regarding patient's needs and current/future appointments Requirements - Certification in Dental Assisting - Virginia x-ray certification is a must - Friendly and energetic - Familiarity with OpenDental software is a plus - Spanish speaking is a plus - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 per week Benefits: On-the-job training Paid time off Paid training Uniform allowance Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: Springfield, VA 22150 (Required) Work Location: In person
