Pennsylvania Ave, Suite A, Escondido, CA 92025 Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $20.00 â $26.00 per hour, depending on experience Schedule: MondayâFriday Job Summary TLC Escondido Dental is a well-established dental practice in Escondido seeking a Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. This role supports doctors and patients by assisting with dental procedures, maintaining treatment rooms, and contributing to a consistent, high-quality patient experience. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, value efficiency and organization, and want to continue developing their clinical skills in a structured, professional environment. Dental assisting experience is preferred; however, candidates who demonstrate strong work ethic, reliability, and motivation to learn are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures Prepare, clean, and organize treatment rooms before and after appointments Take digital X-rays and intraoral images as directed Support patient comfort and clear communication during visits Follow infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols Maintain instruments, equipment, and clinical areas Work collaboratively with the dental team to support efficient daily operations Digital workflow Qualifications Dental Assistant experience preferred, but not necessary Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) a plus Ability to follow protocols and maintain attention to detail Strong organizational and time-management skills Dependable, professional, and team-oriented Willingness to learn and improve clinical skills X-ray certificate Training is provided for practice-specific systems and workflows.
