Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Back Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate must have experience with Dentrix and iTero systems, along with a strong background in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and advanced dental procedures. WED ,THUR ,FRIDAY Y ONLY PART TIME IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR THE IDEAL CANDIDATE -714-556-7277 Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures including restorative, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques. Take and develop X-rays, including 3D scans using iTero or similar digital imaging systems. Manage patient records accurately within Dentrix EMR system while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques, vital signs measurement, and medical imaging. Educate patients on dental procedures, post-operative care, and oral health maintenance in both English and Spanish. Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and managing medical documentation efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to infection control protocols. Assist with medical coding and documentation for insurance claims as needed. Qualifications Bilingual fluency in Spanish is required; proficiency in English is essential for effective communication. Prior experience as a dental assistant in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry preferred; familiarity with dental terminology is necessary. Knowledge of Dentrix EMR system, , Epic or similar software is highly desirable. Experience with iTero digital scanner and 3D imaging technology required. Certification or training in X-ray procedures and infection control standards preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, aseptic techniques, and dental assisting best practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.
