Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Russian/English speaking Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires proficiency in dental terminology, chairside assisting, and a solid understanding of infection control protocols. The Dental Assistant will also be responsible for managing patient records and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing four-handed dentistry support. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols. Record and update patient medical histories, vital signs, and treatment plans in EMR systems such as Dentrix. Manage dental clinic operations including scheduling appointments, handling medical documentation, and maintaining accurate medical records. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred, particularly in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry. Proficiency in using EMR systems, specifically Dentrix Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques is essential. Experience with medical imaging technologies such as 3D scanners is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
