Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated , responsible , reliable and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will support our dental team in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient procedures. Maintain aseptic technique to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients. Take medical imaging, including X-rays, while adhering to safety protocols. Manage patient records using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix. Provide support in pediatric dentistry by engaging with young patients and making them comfortable during visits. Perform basic dental receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role in a dental clinic setting. Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is essential. Familiarity with dental software systems, particularly open dental , is preferred. Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. leadership skill. experience in ordering for dental material. SPANISH speaking is a PLUS 2 YEARS dental assistant experience required. Back office lead experience.
