Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full time or Part time Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will be willing to do , mostly Hygiene at first and some general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and specialized procedures such as oral surgery and root canal therapy. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment utilizing advanced dental technology and maintaining high standards of patient care. The Associate Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing dental conditions, developing treatment plans, and ensuring optimal oral health outcomes for patients of all ages. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, mostly cleanings, some restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Conduct patient assessments to determine dental health status and develop individualized treatment plans. Utilize dental imaging techniques and interpret results to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain accurate and detailed medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies. Collaborate with dental team members to deliver high-quality patient care using four-handed dentistry techniques. Stay current with advancements in dental technology, procedures, and industry standards to enhance clinical skills. Skills Proficiency in electronic health record system for Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices. Experience with pediatric dentistry, endodontics (including root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Skilled in medical documentation and patient care management within a dental setting. Ability to perform dental extractions, dental fabrication, and utilize medical imaging tools effectively. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards and medical records management. Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration. Prior experience working in a dental clinic or office environment is preferred.
