Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The Associate Dentist will be responsible for delivering general dentistry services with a focus on exam, prophy and some restorative work. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical documentation, infection control protocols, and HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance and quality care. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments through detailed examinations and medical/dental histories. Utilize advanced dental imaging and anatomy knowledge to diagnose conditions accurately. Implement aseptic techniques and infection control procedures to maintain a sterile environment. Manage patient care from initial consultation through treatment planning and follow-up care. Document all procedures accurately using medical records system Ascend while adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Collaborate with team members Educate patients on oral health maintenance, treatment options, and preventive care strategies. Qualifications DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate Dentist. Proven experience in general dentistry. Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, infection control standards, and HIPAA compliance. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and dental fabrication processes is advantageous. Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards.
