Location: Shore Lake Dental Job Type: Full-Time (MondayâFriday) Pay: Competitive (based on experience) + bonuses/incentives available About the Role Shore Lake Dental is looking for a high-energy Dental Receptionist who thrives in a fast-paced, call-center-style environment. This is a phone-heavy, high-volume scheduling position âyouâll be answering hundreds of calls , booking appointments efficiently, handling follow-ups, and helping keep the schedule full and productive. If youâre confident on the phone, love multitasking, and can stay upbeat while moving quickly, this is a great fit. What Youâll Do Inbound Calls (High Volume) Answer a large number of inbound calls daily with professionalism and urgency Handle new patient inquiries, pricing questions, and appointment requests Route clinical calls appropriately while maintaining excellent customer service Scheduling + Calendar Management Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments accurately Fill gaps in the schedule and support production goals Verify key info (insurance, reason for visit, preferences, urgency) Outbound Calling (Follow-Up + Reactivation) Call leads and unscheduled treatment plans to get patients booked Follow up on missed calls, no-shows, and cancellations Make reminder calls/texts and reactivation calls to past due patients Patient Experience + Front Desk Support Deliver a friendly, confident, and helpful tone on every call Collect patient information accurately and document notes clearly Support the team with admin tasks as needed What Weâre Looking For Strong phone presence â warm, confident, and professional Ability to stay calm and organized in a high-volume call environment Fast and accurate computer skills (typing, multitasking, switching screens) Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Team player who takes ownership and follows through Experience Preferred Dental office experience is a plus (but not required if youâre a strong scheduler) Medical/dental scheduling, call center, hospitality, or sales experience encouraged Familiarity with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar software is a plus Success in This Role Looks Like Answering calls quickly and converting inquiries into scheduled appointments Keeping the schedule full and organized Following up consistently and closing the loop with patients Providing a smooth, friendly patient experience every time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $100.00 per hour Work Location: In person
