Established dental practice in Coral Springs is looking to hire a positive and friendly Dental Assistant. New Dental Assisting program graduates and foreign trained dental professionals are welcome to apply. Position is 20-25 hours a week to start with the opportunity for more hours after you are fully onboard and trained. Job responsibilities include: Communicating with patients before, during and after dental procedures Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments Setting up instrument trays preparing materials and assisting with dental procedures Taking dental x-rays from dental diagnostic tools Giving patients information on dental hygiene and oral health care Presenting treatment options to patients Previous experience with Dentrix is an asset but not required.
