We train our assistants to do everything that is allowed under the Virginia State Dental Board so our assistants are very involved in direct patient care, which makes the job a lot more interesting and rewarding . They are highly involved in patient care, reinforcing the treatment the doctor diagnoses and teaching patients about all the various options available in dentistry. There will also be duties in the sterilization room and lab to keep all the work flow moving smoothly. Dental Assistant Benefits: Monday - Thursday, most Fridays throughout the year off **No Weekends Pay starting out at $16 and depends on experience Paid time off and Holiday Pay Monthly benefit to use towards retirement 401K, vision, AFLAC or take it as cash.
