Job Overview First of all, we are a very fun bunch to work with!!! Must be faced paced and able to pack cord, take impressions, experience with crowns and fillings. We have 2 hygienists, one sterile tech and one doctor. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant and a Sterile Tech to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and chairside assisting. The Sterile Tech will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, and supporting the overall efficiency of the dental clinic. We are open Tues, Wed and Thursday 7-5:00pm but are flexible with days and hours. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Manage patient appointments and assist with scheduling as needed, including pediatric dentistry cases Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care Monitor vital signs and assist with medical imaging when necessary Utilize EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for patient management Support the dental team in various tasks related to general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatrics Skills Proficient in dental terminology and anatomy knowledge Experience with medical documentation, coding, and records management Strong understanding of infection control protocols within a dental clinic setting Ability to perform chairside assisting effectively while ensuring patient comfort Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles is a plus Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and team members effectively We offer $300 each month towards your medical for the first year and then $600 a month the second year. This will go into your check.
