**Job Overview:** 1 Day, Part-Time Thursday 9-5 We are seeking a dedicated Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the orthodontist in providing quality care to patients and ensuring a smooth patient experience. **Duties:** - Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures - Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and treatments - Take and develop X-rays as directed by the orthodontist - Proficient in arch wire changing - Familiar with banding and bonding procedures and ortho records - Ability to use iTero scanner ( but willing to train) - Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control measures - Provide chair-side assistance during orthodontic procedures - Adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy - Record and maintain patient records accurately - Assist in patient assessment and treatment planning -Other duties as assigned **Experience:** - Previous experience in dental assisting or orthodontics preferred - Proficiency in X-ray procedures and dental equipment operation - Proficient in HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols - Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic orthodontic practice, assisting in providing exceptional care to patients.
