Endodontic Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist the endodontist during procedures with efficiency and attention to detail
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure a pristine, well-organized clinical environment
• Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols
• Anticipate provider needs and support smooth clinical flow
• Provide reassurance and clear communication to patients before, during, and after treatment
• Take X-rays as needed, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis, as well as CBCT imaging
• Maintain and restock clinical supplies and equipment
• Xcel
• Chart notes completion and post-op letter templates, grammar is important
• Ensure all patient records are maintained in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide patient education on post-treatment care.
• Assist with medical coding for insurance purposes, ensuring proper documentation of services rendered (will train if needed).
• Understand and help manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized workflow within the clinic.
• Answering calls and scheduling patients.

Qualifications:

• Dental assisting experience required; endodontic or specialty experience preferred
• X-ray certification required
• Strong clinical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented, reliable, and positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and grow within a specialty practice
