We are currently hiring for a team of Dental Assisting Instructors at our Flint, MI location hosted at My Community Dental Centers of Flint. This includes clinical teaching on Saturdays during 10 week courses. Do you find yourself training and helping new dental assistants in your practice? Do you find fulfillment in helping others? The responsibilities you would be held accountable for are listed below: Complete the Instructor Training Course. Complete the Instructor Refresher and Accountability Quiz prior to each semester. Confirm instructor schedule prior to the start of the upcoming semester. Prepare to facilitate class by reviewing and understanding the clinic stations. Prepare the dental office for class by setting up clinic stations. Facilitate clinic sessions by executing class checklists and completing each task in its entirety. Gather student documents to be sent to Accelerated Academy Administration. Record grades, attendance and evaluations in the learning management system. Manage all classroom situations. Weekly communication with Accelerated Academy Administration. Assist in on-boarding new instructors through shadowing sessions. Position Qualifications: · Ability to communicate effectively with students · Positive, fun, and caring attitude · HS Diploma, Dental Training Certificate(s) & at least 2 years of clinical experience as a dental assistant · CPR certified Job Type: Part-time Benefits: Referral program Work Location: In person
