Cedar Spring Family Dentistry is seeking a caring and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our thriving, multi-provider, family-owned practice in the Upstate of South Carolina. Duties Patient screening procedures, including assessment of oral health condition, review of health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck exam, X-rays, intraoral photos, and dental charting. Performing a full-mouth debridement, SRP Therapy, and removing calculus and plaque (hard and soft deposits) from all surfaces of the teeth. Applying preventive materials to the teeth (sealants and fluorides). Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling and polishing teeth. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of preventive care. Perform documentation review to ensure accurate patient records are maintained. Utilize dental software systems for patient management and record keeping. Take medical imaging as required, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
