Responsibilities Perform root canal therapy with precision, ensuring thorough cleaning, shaping, disinfection, and sealing of the affected toothâs pulp chamber and root canals Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop personalized treatment plans aligned with best practices in endodontics Utilize advanced dental imaging techniques such as radiographs to diagnose complex cases accurately and monitor treatment progress Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office standards Collaborate seamlessly with the dental team to coordinate patient care, including general dentistry procedures, extractions, and other oral surgeries as needed Apply aseptic techniques diligently to prevent infection during all procedures and uphold strict infection control protocols Educate patients on their oral health status, treatment options, post-procedure care, and preventive strategies to promote long-term dental wellness Skills Extensive knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to endodontics and general dentistry Proficiency with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and record management Strong experience in pediatric dentistry and working with pediatric patients is a plus Expertise in dental fabrication techniques for temporary restorations or prosthodontics when necessary Skilled in performing dental extractions, oral surgery procedures, and managing complex cases involving infection control and aseptic technique Familiarity with medical imaging technology for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Excellent patient care skills with a focus on compassionate communication and assessment of patient needs Join us if you are passionate about delivering exceptional root canal therapy within a collaborative environment that values your expertise.
