Responsibilities The dental assistant is expected to perform routine procedures including, but are not limited to, the following: Takes radiographs as instructed by the doctor. Prepares all treatment rooms Suction and retraction. Intra-oral instrument transfer. Scanning of patient's teeth/mouth. Shade selection for fabrication of appliances or restorations. fabrication, cementation, and removal of temporary restorations. Taking photographs. Recording patient treatment. Willingness to learn about 3D printing and digital dentistry. Qualifications Valid Dental X-ray certificate is required. The dental assistant has at least two years of experience in the practice of dental assisting. Coronal polishing certificate is a plus but not required. Business Hours Monday: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Tuesday: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Wednesday: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Thursday: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Friday: Optional.
