THE ROLE We need an experienced Surgical Dental Assistant with at least 1 year of dental surgery experience (implant experience strongly preferred). You'll support our implant surgery team by ensuring seamless operations, exceptional patient care, and meticulous case coordination. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Serve as surgical assistant for dental implant procedures (single, multiple, full arch) · Prepare operatory setups and maintain sterile environment · Manage implant/surgical inventory (abutments, bone grafts, sutures, instruments) · Coordinate with labs for surgical guides, temporaries, and finals · Provide pre-op instructions and compassionate post-op follow-up calls · Track cases from intake to completion with accurate documentation · Manage patient consents and ensure patients feel informed and cared for · Maintain instruments through sterilization protocols · Support team members and participate in continuing education QUALIFICATIONS Required: Minimum 1 year dental surgery experience • CDA, EFDA, or equivalent certification • CPR/BLS certified • Strong organizational and communication skills • Detail-oriented Preferred: 3+ years surgical/implant experience • Case management skills • Leadership ability • Heart for serving with compassion SUCCESS MEANS Zero missed supplies • On-time surgical starts • High patient satisfaction • Accurate documentation • Efficient inventory control • Embodying our practice values WHY JOIN US?
