Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical histories. Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment. Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and advancements in dental technology. Experience Proficiency in Curve software system for efficient patient management. Experience in pediatric dentistry and familiarity with the unique needs of younger patients. Strong background in dental assisting, including chairside assisting skills. Knowledge of medical coding, documentation review, and EMR systems for accurate record keeping. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting. Understanding of infection control procedures and best practices within the dental field.
