Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist with proficient Spanish and English to join our dynamic dental team. Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations, medical history review, and oral health evaluations using advanced diagnostic tools and medical imaging techniques. Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services such as dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics to restore and maintain oral health. Conduct complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), and oral surgery with precision and aseptic technique. Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-treatment instructions clearly to patients. Maintain detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure accurate medical records are kept for each patient. Collaborate with the dental team to implement infection control protocols and adhere to strict sterilization standards to ensure patient safety. Use dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar platforms for scheduling, charting, billing, and record keeping. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care strategies, and treatment options to promote long-term oral health. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry techniques, materials, and technology to provide cutting-edge care. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to medical and dental practice standards. Experience Proven experience in general dentistry within a busy dental clinic or office setting is required. Demonstrated proficiency with dental software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred. Strong background in pediatric dentistry, including pediatrics-specific procedures and patient management strategies. Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), prosthodontics procedures, and oral surgery is essential. Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and anatomy enhances diagnostic accuracy and treatment planning. Familiarity with infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA compliance ensures safe practice standards. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations while demonstrating empathy and professionalism. Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes teamwork and high-quality patient care is advantageous.
