Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Jupiter, FL

Skills : Chairside assisting during restorative, preventive, and diagnostic procedures Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for daily procedures Maintaining sterilization and infection control protocols in compliance with OSHA and CDC standards Taking and processing digital dental X-rays as permitted by state regulations Assisting with impressions, scans, and temporary restorations when applicable Managing suction, retraction, isolation, and patient comfort during procedures Updating patient charts and documenting treatment notes accurately Supporting efficient patient flow and operatory turnover throughout the day Communicating clearly and professionally with patients and clinical team members Using dental software and digital systems for scheduling, charting, and records Requirements : High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent on-the-job experience preferred Current dental assisting certification or registration as required by state regulations Radiation safety or dental X-ray certification as required by state law Knowledge of sterilization procedures, infection control, and HIPAA compliance Ability to follow clinical protocols and maintain accurate patient records Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional, patient-friendly communication and teamwork skills Ability to stand for extended periods and perform chairside assisting duties Reliable attendance and a commitment to high-quality patient care Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Retirement plan Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Experience: dental assisting: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Required) Work Location: In person
