We are a private practice General Dentistry office located on the west side of Georgetown, TX. We are a patient-focused office that treats patients of all ages. We value our patients and treat them like family. We are hiring a full-time dental hygienist for 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday. www.gtxfamilydentistry.com Responsibilities Perform General Health and Oral Assessments Review of health history, medications, take vitals Extraoral and Intraoral Head and Neck Exam Oral cancer screening Comprehensive dental charting and periodontal charting for proper diagnosis Take digital radiographs (all types) Complete Prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing procedures Application of Fluoride varnish and sealants Educate patients on dental diseases, including gingivitis and periodontal disease Educate patients on restorative needs and demonstrate oral hygiene instructions Screening for clear aligner and conventional ortho Perform proper sterilization of instruments and equipment Perform front desk and other office tasks as needed Expectations Great attitude Great communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with high standards for quality; maintains records, checks quality of work and documentation; must follow specific protocols to ensure compliance Be a team player, create a friendly and supportive atmosphere Be Professional and caring, develop lasting relationships with patients based on trust and ethical behavior Adapt to change as the office grows Be willing to work on diverse age and type of patient base.
