Schedule and appointment flow 4-day work week and family-friendly hours 1-hour lunch 60-minute prophy appointments 90-minute new patient appointments More hours available if you want them Pay and benefits Competitive pay Bonuses 401(k) PTO Scrub allowance CE reimbursement Holiday pay Free dental care and more Office hours Monday 8:00am to 4:00pm Tuesday 8:00am to 5:00pm Wednesday 8:00am to 4:00pm Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm Responsibilities Ensure patients feel comfortable before their exam Sterilize instruments properly and follow infection control protocols Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history Identify conditions such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis Clean and protect teeth by removing plaque and applying fluoride Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and home care Give post-procedure instructions Take X-rays and impressions as needed Support dentists with selecting appropriate treatments, including screening support for oral cancer concerns Maintain accurate documentation and charts Monitor supplies and keep rooms stocked Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or similar role Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, including HIPAA Experience preparing and maintaining dental equipment Outstanding communication and patient care skills Friendly, calm chairside manner High attention to detail Stamina to meet the physical demands of the role Dental Hygiene degree.
