We are seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist join our dedicated Dental Team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality preventive oral healthcare, educate patients on good oral hygiene practices, and support the overall mission of improving community health. Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Provide direct patient care, including prophylaxis, debridement, hand scaling, sealants, fluoride treatments, and radiographs. Perform patient assessments, including charting, periodontal evaluations, and vital signs. Review medical histories and document patient conditions, needs, and chief complaints. Develop and implement individualized dental care plans under the supervision of a dentist. Assist with dental emergencies, implementing appropriate interventions as needed. Set up, maintain, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment per established guidelines. Educate patients and families on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records and reports. Support clinic operations, including patient reception, triage, and office duties as needed. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor's or Associates degree from an accredited dental hygiene program. Valid dental hygiene license (Indiana). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willing to complete upon start. Knowledge of federal, state, and institutional regulations governing dental outpatient services. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
