From preparing patients for procedures to providing comfort and care, youâll be the go-to teammate who helps everything run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing patients and treatment rooms for exams and procedures Sterilizing instruments and setting up trays Assisting chairside during dental treatments and nitrous oxide administration Taking x-rays, impressions, medical histories, and vital signs Educating patients on oral hygiene and aftercare Recording treatment notes and helping keep patients at ease Supporting emergencies and ensuring safety following OSHA guidelines Most importantly, youâll provide not only medical assistance but also the reassurance, empathy, and encouragement that make our patients feel truly cared for.
