Pay: $40.00+ (DOE) Work Location: In person (Detroit Lakes, MN) Job Description: Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) We are seeking a friendly, self-motivated, team-oriented dental hygienist with excellent people skills, good work habits and a desire to learn. Familiarity with the Eaglesoft program and Schick technology is preferred. The position is PRN with the potential for full-time employment Monday through Thursday 7:45 am to 5:00 pm (or last patient of the day ). Responsibilities: Perform thorough, gentle prophylaxis (cleaning), scaling, and root planing Take, develop, and interpret high-quality dental radiographs (X-Rays) Conduct oral health assessments, check for signs of decay/disease, and update patient records Apply preventive materials such as fluoride and sealants Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and nutrition Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment Appointment scheduling and record keeping as needed Skills: Proven experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of state and federal health and safety regulations Demonstrated ability to utilize Eaglesoft for patient scheduling and record keeping, and/or open to learning Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable Accuracy in tracking supply and inventory levels License/Certification: Current state license as a Registered Dental Assistant Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Health savings account Paid time off Professional development assistance Retirement plan Education: Associate (Required) Experience: Chairside: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Dental Hygiene Licensure (Required) Work Location: In person
