Responsibilities Assist hygienist and dentist with chairside procedures, including four-handed dentistry techniques, ensuring efficient workflow and patient comfort Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental supplies, and maintaining aseptic techniques to uphold infection control standards Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray) and operate advanced medical imaging equipment such as 3D scanners and CBCT machines for accurate diagnostics Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) like Dentrix to ensure accurate documentation of patient information, treatment plans, and medical history Support pediatric dentistry procedures by creating a friendly environment for young patients and understanding pediatric-specific dental terminology Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments with a dental receptionist mindset, maintaining medical documentation, and adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to dentistry Ability to perform vital signs assessment and understand dental coding for accurate record-keeping Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with dentists, hygienists, patients, and team members Join us in delivering top-quality dental care while giving our patients smiles they can admire!
