Position Overview We are seeking a licensed, enthusiastic Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in preventive oral health care, performing professional cleanings, patient education, and supporting our dentists in delivering comprehensive treatment. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, empathetic, and passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health. Key Responsibilities Perform thorough oral health assessments, including periodontal charting, oral cancer screenings, and evaluation for signs of disease Conduct professional dental prophylaxis (cleanings), scaling, root planing, and polishing Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed and follow strict radiation safety protocols Apply preventive treatments such as sealants and fluoride varnish Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and home care recommendations Document patient care accurately in our electronic health record system Sterilize and prepare instruments, maintain infection control standards, and ensure a clean, organized treatment area Assist dentists during procedures when required and build trusting relationships with patients Stay current with best practices through continuing education and team training Qualifications & Requirements Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in CA (required) Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program Current CPR/BLS certification Valid radiology/X-ray certification Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar preferred but not required) Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for patient care Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail New graduates are welcome to apply—we provide excellent mentorship and onboarding What We Offer Competitive compensation: $58–$65 per hour (based on experience) Paid time off Continuing education allowance and paid CE days Flexible scheduling options (2- or 3-day work weeks available) Supportive, collaborative team environment with modern equipment and technology How to Apply If you are a dedicated dental hygienist looking to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives, we would love to hear from you!
