Looking for part time either Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday Our work environment includes: Modern office setting Digital Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the dentist in delivering dental care and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices. Responsibilities: - Perform dental cleanings and oral examinations - Take and develop dental x-rays - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Apply fluoride treatments and sealants - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques - Assist the dentist during procedures, including fillings, extractions, and root canals - Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans - Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area Skills: - Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and CAD - Experience working with pediatric patients - Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system - Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and medical terminology - Ability to assist with medical imaging procedures - Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy protocols Qualifications: - Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of [LOCATION] - Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our Dental Hygienists.
