Dental Receptionist – Dental Experience REQUIRED SCEG | Westlake Village & Simi Valley, CA SCEG is a respected specialty endodontic practice with four highly skilled and well-regarded doctors serving the Westlake Village and Simi Valley communities. Our offices are fast-paced, supportive, and team-oriented. We take pride in delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining a positive and professional work environment. We are currently seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist who thrives in a dynamic setting and is ready to contribute to a high-performing team. Schedule Options Full-Time: 4 days per week (10-hour shifts) Part-Time: 2–3 days per week No evenings, weekends, or holidays Key Responsibilities You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of the practice. Responsibilities include: Greeting patients warmly and professionally Efficient patient check-in and check-out Managing moderate to heavy phone volume with professionalism and care Coordinating communication between front office, back office, and doctors Scheduling appointments methodically and accurately Insurance verification and claims processing Confirming insurance coverage and patient appointments Presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements (after training) Submitting electronic insurance claims Conducting post-operative follow-up calls Additional duties as assigned Qualifications To be considered, candidates must meet the following: Previous dental reception experience REQUIRED Professional appearance and demeanor Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills Exceptional customer service skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated and proactive work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team What We Offer Opportunity to work in both Westlake Village and Simi Valley offices Structured 10-hour shifts to maximize your workweek Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications Benefits and additional perks for loyal and high-performing team members Supportive team culture in a private specialty practice If you are looking for a rewarding position in a respected specialty practice where your skills will be valued, we would love to hear from you.
