Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including deep scaling and root planing Conduct patient assessments by taking medical histories, and reviewing medical records to ensure safe treatment planning. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits. Operate dental imaging equipment accurately for intraoral X-rays and other diagnostic images while adhering to infection control protocols. Document all patient interactions, treatments, and observations clearly in Dentrix. Maintain strict infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization of instruments in compliance with OSHA regulations. Experience Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a fast-paced dental office or clinic setting is preferred. Familiarity with Dentrix is highly desirable. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices and pediatric patient care is a plus. Certification in dental hygiene from an accredited program is required; licensure must be current according to state regulations. Join us in creating healthier smiles!
