The Role

We are looking for a skilled RDH who is not just a clinician, but a patient educator. You will be at the forefront of our hygiene department, working in a modern environment equipped with the latest technology (including in-chair entertainment like Netflix to ensure patient comfort). You will work alongside a collaborative team of doctors and assistants who value clinical precision and a supportive work culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Excellence: Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling and root planing (SRP), and periodontal charting with a gentle touch.

• Patient Education: Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the link between oral health and overall wellness.

• Diagnostic Support: Capture high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral photos; identify signs of oral cancer and periodontal disease for doctor review.

• Preventive Care: Administer fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive therapies.

• Sterilization & Hygiene: Maintain strict adherence to OSHA, CDC, and ADA sterilization protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

• Collaboration: Work closely with Dr. Hung and our associate doctor to develop and explain comprehensive treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Valid California Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.

• Certifications: Active CPR/BLS certification; Local Anesthesia, Nitrous Oxide, and Soft Tissue Curettage (SLN) certifications preferred.

• Experience: Previous experience in a high-quality private practice is a plus, but we welcome talented new graduates with a strong work ethic.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, a calming bedside manner, and a team-player mentality.
