Surgical Dental Assistant – Periodontal Practice (West Los Angeles)

Established periodontal and implant practice in West Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Surgical Dental Assistant to join our team.

Primary focus is chairside assisting for periodontal and implant surgical procedures. We are looking for someone confident in a surgical setting, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate the doctor’s needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with periodontal and implant surgeries

• Surgical setup/breakdown and strict sterile technique

• Digital radiographs / CBCT

• Post-operative instructions and patient care

• Maintaining instruments and surgical inventory

• Supporting front office as needed (phones, scheduling, ordering supplies)

Qualifications:

• 5+ years dental assisting experience (surgical preferred)

• Implant/perio experience strongly preferred

• California RDA and X-ray certification

• CPR/BLS certified

• Professional, organized, and reliable
