Dental Assistant

Dental Assistant needed for established East Denver family practice. Job duties include interacting with our wonderful patients, assisting the dentist and hygienist, instrument and supply management, and assisting the front desk staff. Responsibilities:

 Provide patients with a warm and stress-free experience.

 Establish good rapport with people to help them feel comfortable and build trust.

Work as a team player and be willing to help others.

            Instrument management including sterilization, tray packaging and documentation.

            Dental Operatory management including cleaning, restocking and procedure set up.

            Take radiographs with Dexis imaging, scanning with Trios 5 scanner, impressions and       

             models, fabricating temporary crowns, and bleaching trays.

             Educate the patient on procedures and post-operative care instructions.

             Assist in entering treatment plans and maintaining accurate patient records in the   

  computer chart.


 Skills:

Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods

Oral image taking

Good computer skills

Communication and people skills

Well-organized and reliable with attention to detail
