Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Grand Island, NE
Downtown Dental is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are a family and team oriented office that is very professional and friendly. We provide excellent patient care and customer service. We are hiring for part-time or full-time. Requirements: Current NE Dental Hygienist License (must have active license) Must have a great attitude, work ethic, and be a team player Computer literate with knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR) Knowledge of post-operative instructions (pre-procedure, after surgery, post-discharge, etc.) Must be able to pass criminal background check Dental Hygienist education must be completed within 60 days of employment; prior experience in the field is preferred. Must have a valid NE Driver's License Auto Insurance Must have a positive attitude and work ethic Ability to work independently without supervision as well as within a team environment Job Duties: Proper sterilization of operatories and all office equipment and instruments. Educating in oral hygiene and overall patient health. Administering local anesthetic to patients. (Inspecting for proper dental equipment). (Assisting patients with oral hygiene after surgery or other dental procedures). (Preparing patients for dentists appointment). (Assisting dentists during appointments with patients). (Preparing patients for appointments with medical specialists). (Preparing patients for appointments with dental specialists). (Preparing patients for appointments with healthcare specialists). (Administering treatments according to procedures when treating patients at our office or at a medical facility via telehealth.
