Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional services. This position requires a blend of clinical skills, excellent communication, and a thorough understanding of dental procedures and terminology. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. Take dental X-rays, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Utilize 3D scanning technology to aid in treatment planning. Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information using dentrix. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans. Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and workspaces in compliance with health regulations. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in dental terminology and understanding of dental procedures. Familiarity with 3D scanners, X-ray technology, and electronic health record systems (Dentrix). Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant qualifications is a plus.
