Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic team. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Manage patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental software systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Take and develop X-rays, ensuring proper technique and safety measures are followed. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Perform basic administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient clinic operations. Requirements Previous experience as a registered dental assistant with license being current. Knowledge of infection control practices, HIPAA compliance, and aseptic techniques is essential. Understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical coding is beneficial. Spanish is mandatory due to the patient demographics. Ability to take X-rays safely and effectively.
