Job Description: As a part time Orthodontic Assistant at Kinser Orthodontics, you will play a vital role in supporting our orthodontic team and ensuring our patients receive the best possible care. Your responsibilities will include: Key Responsibilities: · Assisting orthodontists during patient appointments, including adjusting braces and other orthodontic appliances. · Taking X-rays and photographs as needed for treatment planning. · Educating patients on proper orthodontic care and hygiene. · Maintaining patient records and charts accurately. · Sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. · Assisting with front-office tasks such as scheduling appointments and billing. · Providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive patient experience. · Days expected to work – Tue, Wed, Thurs, as well as one Saturday morning a month. Requirements: · Certified Orthodontic Assistant or relevant certification preferred. · Previous experience as an orthodontic assistant is a plus. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. · Attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities. · Knowledge of orthodontic terminology and procedures. · Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. · Proficiency in dental software and X-ray technology.
